This project was orignally just gonna be a small mixtape, a lil collection of songs to give a preview of whats to come. Somehow after 3 days of recording and a couple weeks of production, it turned into more of a EP, street album, or whatever you wanna call it. For a mixtape though the production on here is crazy, better then some full albums out there. But for us, this is nothing.. it gets much better than this. I guess The MGMT just can't keep things simple.

Yeah pretty much I was sitting there going through some of my cousins rough beats and some songs I had half written, (like first verses too and a hook) and decided to make a 6-8 song free download mixtape. Then while we started working we went into the archives of some songs, rediscovered some old beats we had just sitting there along with some new ideas. Once the ball started rolling we recorded the whole thing in a 2 week process, 12 days of planning out what to do and like 2 days in studio recording. Some were songs for the album that we felt were too outdated compared to the newer stuff we're doing so we added it to the mixtape considering the amount of dust it compiled. Then the mixtape unfolded into what we have now, "P.O.E. Process Of Elimination."
